Meet Dr. Jason Latham

A native of Anderson, South Carolina, Dr. Jason Latham began his career as a registered respiratory therapist, where he helped patients and their families through some of their most difficult life challenges.

He went on to attend the Medical University of South Carolina and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in health science, his doctorate of dental medicine, his orthodontic certificate, and his Master of Science degree. During his residency, Dr. Latham’s research on intraoral scanner accuracy was published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and subsequently received the Judson C. Hickey Scientific Writing Award from the journal’s editorial counsel. His work with colleagues on intraoral scanner accuracy was further featured in the Journal of Orthodontics and Craniofacial Research.

Outside the Practice

Dr. Latham enjoys spending time with Dr. Thao and their two energetic children. Fun fact: He has been making wallets and other small leather goods by hand since he was in dental school!
